How do you or your clients behave at work, and how much of that is dictated by your chart? Probably, a lot of on-the- job unhappiness arises from a lack of consciousness about what is best for us. The birth chart (traditional as well as on the 90-degree dial) can provide clues about what a person will be most gratified by, especially whether they are best suited to be an employer, an employee, a freelancer or an entrepreneur. From there, you can develop your own way of offering career counseling through astrology.
Afflictions to Venus cause a deep disturbance to the sense of our own worth and value. Dalai Lama says “Self-hatred is far more extreme than being in a depressed state, it is very, very dangerous.” Venus afflictions need the assumptions and hesitations challenged and the capacity for freedom and happiness brought forth and celebrated!
Perhaps the best way to address this issue is to ask ourselves if astrology can be meaningful for everyone, even those who do not subscribe to any religion, philosophy, or school of psychology.
When forecasting future experience the Progressed Moon is often overlooked; however it is a valuable predictive tool. This lecture will look at the Progressed Moon as it transits through the houses, and as it changes signs. We will interpret the Progressed Moon as it aspects other natal, progressed, and transiting planets. Also, we will look at the Progressed Moon by declination, and the Progressed Moon lunation cycle.
For people who have no birth time or an approximate time we will introduce techniques to adjust the birth chart to identify a likely and/or correct time. These techniques were proposed by Ingrid Naiman of Santa Fe, NM in 1998. We will introduce ways to use Astro*Cartography in the rectification process.
Serious, Professional, astrology is growing throughout the world, with many excellent schools forming that train students to become professionals over a 2-4 year curriculum. But the emphasis on such quality astrological education is absent in the USA. Why?

In the horoscopes of horror writers, we can catch a glimpse of the monster archetype―mythic creatures that embody our worst fears and most erotic longings. Jung called them psychological complexes, but astrologers know them as variants of Pluto: Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, Mr. Hyde, Godzilla, King Kong, and the like. In this talk, we'll examine how monsters symbolize fears of death and transformation. Learn how to spot the monster in the horoscope, and why making its acquaintance is both healing and empowering.
Where does one begin the study of financial astrology? The lecture will take a look at the natal chart and describe areas of individual financial strengths and weaknesses, and the timing of potential financial gains and losses in life.

The Element of the three Mercury retrogrades of your birth year echoes throughout your chart and activates a particular set of three houses in your chart, also known as a Trigon. This elemental “vintage” of the year you were born shows basic human needs and questions you are here to help re-define for the collective.
Saturn forms the cubicles in which we live, collectively and personally. These walls are sturdy as they are reinforced by our age cohorts from pre school to college. This lecture will provide new insights into our Saturn frames.
This lecture will show how planets can influence areas of life in addition to house placement and rulership. By adding exaltation, detriment, fall and triplicity house lords, we can ascertain which planets are helpful, lucky, or not for each house. This technique deepens natal interpretation and provides more insight into transits.

Sometimes it’s the client, and sometimes it’s their mother – or brother – or some other. In this chart, we’ll examine how to identify family-related issues that might be impacting our clients’ lives, and how to help them navigate their way to self-actualization through communication with the very highest parts of themselves. We will use both the traditional chart and Uranian astrology to illustrate case studies.
This talk will focus on the sign and house position of the Sun. The archetype of the Hero is at the core of the Sun. Its primary functions are will and creativity, and its goals are the establishment of identity and achievement of self-esteem. Whereas the Sun-sign shows how we express ourselves, the Sun's house indicates the context in which creativity is expressed, identity consolidated, and self-esteem attained. Participants will explore the actions of the Sun in their own charts. Be prepared to talk about your Sun sign/house combination so that we can all learn from one another!
Can you see death in a chart and if you can, is it morally ethical to predict it either for the client or someone else. We will look at charts of people who have died and what the triggers were in their chart. As with all predictive techniques, besides the natal promise, there are three essentials to accurate forecasting. Their role in death will be explored and explained.

The legends of Mars as a troublemaker are widespread. We could live mostly in fear and judgment of it, yet we could not stay alive without it. By exploring other mythologies and archetypes, we can appreciate and put Mars to good use, discovering its benefic functions in our personal and national charts.
Learn how to identify shadows, wounds, and complexes in the birthchart. For each sign of the zodiac, there is an associated pathology that tends to be symbolized by hard aspects to that sign's ruling planet and/or house. These will include Mars and Antisocial Personality, Venus and Borderline Pathology, Mercury and Obsessive Compulsive, the Sun and Narcissistic Disorders, Jupiter and Mania, Saturn and Depression, Uranus and Schizoid Personality, Neptune and Psychosis, and Pluto and Paranoia. Additional highlights include planetary defenses and compromise formations · the challenge of Yods and T-squares · how developmental experiences are indicated by house configurations · helping clients with difficult aspects · and how a process of healing is built into the structure of the horoscope.
